Accommodation The apartment has a lounge with double sofa-bed, TV, DVD player, HiFi and dining table and chairs. There is a double bedroom with a mirrored wardrobe leading on to the bathroom with electric shower over the bathtub. The kitchen is well equipped with washing machine/dryer, fridge with small freezer box, microwave, counter top dishwasher, kettle, toaster, Nespresso coffee machine, pots, pans and crockery. The apartment overlooks the shared garden as well as Edinburgh Castle. Castle View Apartment is located at the back of a secure gated apartment complex, affording it peace and quiet in an otherwise bustling area.

Available for holiday lets of 2 nights plus and short term rental all year round, this accommodation is ideal for 2 guests although there is space to accommodate up to 4 guests, if required.

Although we would recommend guests come by public transport, there are plenty of car parks close to the apartment; the closest being NCP Castle Terrace. For a cheaper alternative, Edinburgh has many Park & Ride car parks that allow overnight parking (the most expensive costing £0.50 per 24 hours).

Overlooking Edinburgh Castle, this self-catered apartment is ideally situated for those seeking a central base to explore the shops, attractions, events and nightlife.

Considered the cultural capital of Scotland, there is so much to see and do no matter your tastes. The apartment is a mere 5-10 minute walk from The Royal Mile, Edinburgh Castle and the Princes Street. See an array of street performers, witness the one o'clock gun at the Castle, shop until you drop or visit one of Edinburgh's Contemporary Art Galleries. And that's just the start of it!

Castle View Apartment is an ideal holiday base for the Edinburgh Military Tattoo, Fringe Festival, Six Nations Rugby at Murrayfield, Edinburgh's Half Marathon, Christmas Markets and Hogmanay celebrations or simply a well deserved break in a beautiful City.

Booking Terms 25% deposit is required to secure the dates with the balance due 8 weeks prior to arrival. Where a booking is made within 8 weeks of arrival then full payment will be required at the time of booking. We accept most forms of payment including bank transfer; all major credit cards and UK issued debit cards. Credit card payments incur a 3% surcharge - debit cards are processed free of charge. Rental is inclusive of linen and towels, as well as utilities (gas and electricity). Fair usage policy applies. All breakages are chargeable. TS Properties have the right to charge a fully refundable security deposit.

Cancellation Policy

Once a booking deposit has been paid and the booking confirmed in writing, the Tenant is liable for the whole amount of the rent for the period booked.

Any cancellations must be made in writing and acknowledged by us.

  • If notice of cancellation is given more than 8 weeks before your arrival date, 25% of the total tariff is non-refundable
  • If notice of cancellation is given with less than 8 weeks of your arrival date, the full amount is payable.


Holiday / Cancellation Insurance. Once booked, the Tenant is liable for the complete Property rental costs. As such, it is strongly recommended that the Tenant take out suitable holiday / cancellation insurance to cover costs incurred by unexpected holiday cancellation. Booking Protect, which is a cancellation policy, is offered as an option at the time of booking via the TS Holiday Lets website. Booking Protect is an independent company and in no way related to TS Holiday Lets.
