Lyon Croft Cottage has recently been refurbished to a high standard. It has a cosy sitting room and separate dining room both with wood burning stoves. There's TV with freeview, DVD player & DVD's, lots of books, many on the local area, and plenty of games.
This delightful holiday cottage is situated at the foot of Glen Lyon, the longest Glen in Scotland, a hidden gem boasting some of the most spectacular scenery; high mountains, remarkable trees and the winding River Lyon.
An ideal base for family holidays and activity holidays; the area offers fantastic opportunities for cycling, walking, golf, fishing, riding, wildlife safaris, canoeing and white water rafting. There are a variety of good places to eat, whether it's for a bite of lunch or a three-course dinner. It is the perfect central location for visiting some of Scotland's historic monuments, Castles & Palaces and beautiful gardens.
Or you can sit back and enjoy the peace and quiet of the cottage and observe the natural wildlife and birds that surround it.
The surrounding Perthshire area is rich in history and religious significance; its natural beauty has been the backdrop for an ancient and sophisticated culture. Bronze and Iron age settlements can be found in the area as well as the Roman camp at Foringall, reputed to be the birthplace of Pontius Pilate.

Short breaks of 3 nights+ available by request (out of season November - March)
Rates include linen, towels and initial supply of wood for both fireplaces
Pet friendly. One well-behaved dog welcome. Two dogs may be allowed by request. A charge of £10 per dog will be applied to the booking.
