The Mews House is in the west end of Perth and offers tranquil accommodation for up to 3 plus a small child. It is set in a walled garden and guests have access to the grounds and a parking space for 1 car. It is ideal for access to all parts of Scotland with Edinburgh only an hour away and there are over 60 golf courses in Perthshire alone!
Overview:
The Mews House is a modern dwelling house in the 'Fair City of Perth', gateway to the Highlands. Perfect accommodation for vacation rentals or corporate lets alike, this 4 star self catering holiday cottage is available for weekly lets and short breaks all year round.
Accommodation is set over 2 floors and includes sitting room and open plan kitchen with breakfast bar, one super kingsize bedroom (which can convert to twin beds), one single bedroom and family bathroom with shower. There is a private courtyard area with BBQ facilities as well as use of the estate grounds within which the property lies. From the upper floor rooms are views over the city of Perth and up to Kinnoull Hill.
Perth city centre, which is within walking distance of the accommodation, has many specialist shops including delicatessans, jewellers, department stores, galleries, cafe bars and many superb restaurants. Regular weekend farmers markets are run in the town centre from which you can purchase some of the fine quality food / produce from the local area. In addition to this there are beautiful gardens to visit and the North and South Inches (parkland) which border the river Tay and for entertainment there is a theatre, concert hall, cinema, ice rink and leisure pool - plenty for all of the family.
Perth is a great base from which to explore much of Scotland with ease of access. Both Edinburgh and Glasgow are approximately 1 hour (or just over) away, Crieff a mere 20 - 30 minutes as is the famous golf course of Gleneagles. The beautiful coastal villages of the East Neuk of Fife and St Andrews can be reached within 1 hour.
